The cyber-attacks continue for all businesses. Just a few weeks ago BleepingComputer.com published an article about the Cisco Networks breach - this is a $51.56 billion tech company! The Yanlouwang ransomware gang exfiltrated the Cisco network using an employee’s stolen credentials after hijacking their personal Google account containing credentials synced from their browser. So what can we learn from this event? It is not if, but when. Because of the layers, they were able to stop the breach.

Do you have layers and policies in place?

Do you allow your employees to save their passwords in the browser?

I know many employees that use their personal Google login on their Chrome browser. This mean that data is in the cloud and available anywhere they login (or a hacker logs-in). Have you disabled browser saving across your company?
