You know who you are. You were working on a Word document and clicked “Close”. And before you realized what happened, your finger clicked “Don’t Save”!!! Well, don’t panic.

Last week we talked about one way to recover a Word document. As with most things, there’s more than one way to do this; Plan B (in case the first one doesn’t work). This week we’ll look at Word’s “Recover Unsaved Documents” feature.

Here’s how to recover a Word document. In the toolbar at the top left click “File”. In the “Info” section, click the “Manage Document” button. Then click “Recover Unsaved Documents” and, voila!, look for your document in the list.

Tip: If it’s not there, remember there’s a Plan A. See last week’s blog about Word’s AutoRecover feature.
