Questions leaders ask
We're a small business. Do we really need an AI policy?
If your employees use ChatGPT, Copilot or similar tools, and most do, AI is already in your business. A clear policy says which tools are approved, what information must never be entered and when a person must review the output. It's what lets your people use AI with confidence.
Isn't banning AI the safer choice?
Bans rarely hold. People switch to personal accounts, out of sight. We use a risk-based model instead: Go for low-risk uses under standard rules, Review for sensitive or external uses, and Stop for what's unacceptable.
Will you tell us which AI tools to buy?
We recommend tools only after reviewing your requirements and your current technology. Often the best starting point is AI already included in platforms you own. We don't sell a particular AI product.
What is a virtual Chief AI Officer (vCAIO)?
An experienced advisor who helps leadership navigate AI on an ongoing basis, the same way a fractional CFO or a virtual CIO helps with finance or technology. Your vCAIO runs a monthly advisory meeting, keeps your roadmap current, reviews new tools and use cases, and reports to leadership each quarter.
How is pricing set?
AI Foundation is a fixed fee, starting at $5,995, based on your size and requirements. AI Advisory starts at $2,500/month and is one monthly fee for ongoing strategic guidance. You won't be tracking hours.
Does this replace our IT provider?
No. AI Advantage works alongside your IT team or provider. For Fairoaks managed-service clients, it sits beside Total Secure, which protects your environment, and Cloud Secure Baseline, which hardens Microsoft 365.
Is this legal advice or a certification?
No. Our work is informed by the NIST AI Risk Management Framework, and your policies are written to be reviewed with your legal counsel. AI Advantage is not a certification, a compliance audit or legal advice.
Do you build AI agents and automations?
AI Advantage helps you decide where an agent or automation makes sense and designs how it should work. Building it, for example in Copilot Studio or Power Automate, is scoped as a separate project.
