I took some time off and went north. Alaska. What a great trip! We visited Glacier Bay and I took a TON of photos. One of the glaciers was Margerie Glacier. It’s about a mile wide and relatively slow moving (about 6 feet a day). That means that every day about 6 feet of the glacier face falls into the bay. It’s called calving and I caught some good shots. I pieced together a series of photos and recorded a short video. It doesn’t compare with seeing and hearing it in person but I think you’ll enjoy seeing it. Click here to watch.
